We originally launched this activity as one of the Christmas challenges on our team bake off event, we noticed how people didn’t limit themselves to gingerbread houses and created all sorts of ambitious ideas, since launching gingerbread creations we have had fork lift trucks and lorries for Volvo, Boeing 747 from Air Bus, handbags from Chanel and so many more! The only limit to this activity seems to be the imagination!
Following a warm welcome and a briefing from the Hartley events team, guests will be ushered to their baking zones and depending on time restraints we will either provide some premade gingerbread dough or give the teams the recipe and resources to make their own. A professional demonstration follows to include rolling, cutting, baking and assembling a gingerbread construction to inspire and equip the teams with the necessary skills they will need for their own team’s designs.
Anything could happen from this moment on, we will provide each team with card, rulers and craft equipment to design templates for cutting the dough, an oven, baking trays and a larder stocked with glitters sweets and treats for decorating, unleash your team’s full potential with this creative, innovative team activity!
all accompanied with hand-outs and recipes for guests to take home!
