Guests will literally up to their elbows in these hands on chocolate challenge. Our innovative chocolatiers will bring chocolate moulds cocoa butter transfer sheets, toppings and colours, granite slabs bowls spatulas, tempering equipment, packaging supplies and professional chocolatiers to inspire the teams.

Event Outline

  • The challenge will be to create a new product to break in to the competitive chocolate market this could be anything from a rustic bar or chocolate lollypops or even a chocolate portrait.
  • We will open with an introduction and a demonstration from our master chocolatier to equip the teams with the necessary skills for the task, this will include a talk on chocolate from bean to bar, we can also incorporate a tasting challenge to the activity for a bit of fun (surcharge of £7 plus vat per person).
  • Each team will have not only manufacture their product from the finest fair-trade chocolate but they will also have to produce the packaging it will go in.
  • Ideas will be pitched to our chocolatiers who will be looking for an inspiring new idea that will capture the imagination; we will keep this light-hearted and fun but at the same time carrying a message and purpose with the activity.

12:00 Events crew arrive onsite and set up, this can be at any venue or location nationwide and beyond.

13:50 Room is set and our event host will meet your point of contact.

14:00 We warmly welcome your guests and explain what is to be expected of them, guests are put into teams (unless pre-selected) and they will go to their stations where their hats and aprons will be. Each team needs to appoint a head chef to delegate roles.

14:15 Some good housekeeping with a health and safety briefing relevant to the tasks and venue is given by our host followed by interviewing the head chefs from each team, the briefing and warm up session is rounded off with a “yes chef!” from each team.

14:20 A demonstration is given by our chef, this may be on a big screen for larger groups so all the guests can see and understand the technical skills that are required; such as tempering, finishing, presentation techniques and good food practices.

14:40 Preparing and creating the products commences

16:30 Creating concludes, and teams pitch to the judge to try and win more points for their final score.

16:55 The winning team is announced, medals awarded and proud photo moments for the winning team are shared. During the event debrief your host and chef will share the most amusing moments and highlights from the activity and conclude with thank you’s and goodbyes.

17:00 Event crew commence derig (we leave the event space clean and tidy)
