Introduction

A memorable experience, cooking, sharing and dining together as a team. Sir Ian McGeechan, OBE former Lions rugby union head coach said at at a seminar we attended “we eat a meal together to celebrate a victory, but also a good meal will build up a team when defeated and moral is down, there is no better therapy than eating, talking and laughing round a dinner table" In our opinion nothing is better than cooking and eating together as a team, we have seen this time and time again on all our cookery events.

Event Outline

Work with our Michelin star chefs to create perfect British dishes, then dine, enjoy conversation and laughter with your teams or clients.   We will use a set menu to get each teams working collaboratively towards a common goal and at the same time for added fun a competitive element between each team if desired.

To begin our event host will welcome guests and divide the group into teams with each team cooking a starter dish, a main and dessert using our fresh aromatic ingredients and recipes from our archives.  Our expert chef will demonstrate knife handling skills, health and safety and technical aspects of the dishes.

Each team will be responsible for organizing themselves and delegating tasks.  They will be expected to work together to produce the meal with individuals assuming responsibility for their part of the meal, from cooking the dishes, table setting, presenting and serving the dishes for each other to encourage team work organizational skills and bonding within the group.

Each team will sit down together to enjoy the fruits of their labor,  and will present there signature dishes to the Head Chef.  Discerning judging criteria from which team managed to successfully recreate the dishes, taste, presentation, team work and time management.
