Introduction

Pizzas are still one of the most popular choices on any menu however we often seem to settle for an inferior product this class/team activity, we will show you how to make perfect dough base pizzas dips salads. Our portable pizza ovens give an authentic taste, crust and finish they can cook a pizza in 90 seconds! Pizza ovens are subject to venue consent and location please speak to Paul or Kate in the sales team for recommendations

Event Outline

After splitting the group in to teams we will begin with a warm up pizza tossing relay challenge. This is followed by our chef giving a pizza making demonstration to include making and fermenting dough, knife handling skills, health and safety (no cooking experience required only a passion for excellent pizza!)

Our event host will then set the challenge to design a new pizza concept to compete with the leading brands we will also expect teams to make dips salads and side orders to serve as an evening meal.

The dish, every restaurant has a signature dish for which it is famed. The teams will have to create a signature pizza and side order to be baked in either our portable commercial oven or portable wood fired oven (subject to venue consent)! Budgeting and ingredient selection is vital here to make the maximum profit on the pizzas.

The Pitch, in order to be selected, the pitch is vital to communicating the concept, this is where the investment contract could be won! Teams have to deliver the hot pizza in to the boardroom to tempt our panel of Judges to invest, points will be deducted for cold or soggy based pizzas!.

Points awarded for skill levels used 1 to 5, presentations, concept and of course taste!! Extra points awarded for “cheesy” accents with the presentation.

Guests then sit down together to enjoy what they have made.
