Introduction

We have had a long standing love affair with Gin since the 1700’s and not much has changed since then, Gin in recent years has undergone somewhat of a revival with micro distilleries making new and exciting flavours to meet an ever more demanding clientele, in this tasting session we will taste a range of new and old world Gins with a variety of botanicals and tonics to compliment the Gin styles.

Event Outline

Upon arrival guests will be welcomed in by the host, guests will be seated round tables with tasting glasses to hand (for a more informal approach we can have Gin stations set up around the room with a host to advise guests), after an introduction from our Gin expert we will take your guests on a facinating short  journey through history and the making of Gin.

The tastings, our host keeps the session entertaining with lots of banter and fun, he we will include 4 to 6 tastings  depending upon time restraints with one of our own Hartley’s Gin cocktails, in addition to the tastings we will set up a small Gin bar with a variety of botanicals and premium tonics for guests to discover some of there very own flavours and cocktails.

By the end of the tasting event you will certainly  have new found respect with a broader knowledge of the Gin’s that we Brits enjoy so much.

Please note if required we can run this as an informal activity with our expert hosting a Gin bar giving  a talk and tasting to guests who want to get involved.
