Event Outline - The Virtual Culinary Games

Welcome to the Virtual Culinary Games

To start your event host welcomes guests and will divide them into teams, the timer is then set for lots of messy fun and teams will go head to head in foodie challenges in the comfort of their own kitchen.

Cupcakes Challenge – No mixers allowed!

Team-mates will get their aprons on straight away in this baking challenge, will they crack or be eggsalant!   They must home bake perfect cupcakes by hand!  When cooled they will be challenged to decorate and present the cupcakes for judging incorporating professional skills.

The Rose Challenge

A technical round where teams will go head to head to hand craft a beautiful radish rose, a tomato rose, and sugar rose for our chef to judge.

Perfect Yorkshire Puddings

Will your team rise to the challenge? It’s simple the winning team will be those with the biggest and the best Yorkshire Puddings.

Chocolate Truffle Making

Following a speedy demonstration, have fun and master the art of making your own chocolate truffles.

Culinary quizzes

Quiz-based rounds to include identifying chocolate, celebrity chefs, brands and spices

Napkin Origami

Master the art of napkin folding and see if you can beat the record for a perfectly folded napkin.  The fan folding napkin record currently stands at 10 seconds!

Grand Finale Pancake challenge

Flipping good fun, teams armed with their frying pans and pancake mix, tea-mates will cook pancakes against the timer which will conclude with a flipping challenge in the grand finale.

How does it work?

Virtual Event Packages Delivered to your guests 

Delegates will have a virtual event package sent direct to their home with the specialized ingredients, hat, apron, useful foodie charts and keepsake.  The parcels will be delivered by one of our partner couriers 2 days before the activity.  Guests will simply log in and join their colleagues and one of our Chefs for an inspiring  and fun cookery activity.

Common questions

  1. Ingredients going to guest’s homes, – how does that work?

The ingredients will be sent in sealed ice bags and temperature controlled within the boxes in line with food and hygiene legislation.  Guests will need to open the boxes and fridgerate the items which required to be cooled until the activity starts.

      2. What about sending parcels to guest’s homes and protection of guests data?

You will be given login details to upload the guests addresses for the parcel deliveries.

  1. Which courier service do you use?

We use DPD for deliveries but will consider other services.  DPD take photos of parcels to confirm delivery as an alternative to signing for them because of corona virus.
