Event Outline

Upon arrival guests will be ushered in by the host, guests will be seated round tables with tasting glasses to hand (for a more informal approach we can have whisky stations set up around the room with a host to advise guests), after an introduction from our Whiskey expert we will take your guests on a short  journey through history and the making of Whiskey, this includes fascinating stories of bootlegging, tax avoidance, what a dram is and how Whiskey made it through prohibition, we will also give a short and informative talk on how Whisky is made which sets the scene for tasting and enjoying Whisky with all its rich history.

The tastings, our host keeps the session entertaining with banter and fun he we will include 2 to 3  tastings from Scotland, a bourbon from America and a guest Whiskey form Ireland or Japan (a fast growing player in the world of Whisky!). You will learn how to cut the Whisky and we will guarantee that even if you don’t like Whisky, by the end of the event you will certainly  have a new found respect for it and  have a broader knowledge of how not only Whiskey  is made but also many of the other spirits such as Vodka and Gin that we enjoy so much.
