Introduction

A masterclass and activity that will get a core message and company values firmly cemented as part of the foundations of your business, the group will work as individual teams but also together towards a phenomenal collaborative project that will give your team a huge sense of achievement and identity.

Event Outline

Following a warm welcome from our events crew  and dividing the group in to teams our confectioner chef will give  an expert demonstration on how to make perfect cupcakes, this will be followed by decorating with butter cream, royal icing, piping techniques, modelling with sugar paste, and colouring techniques, all accompanied with hand-outs and recipes.

The challenge

To create your company brand, ethics or logo entirely out of cakes and cupcakes, each team will assume responsibility for 1 part of a picture and use the cupcakes as  mosaic tiles with each perfectly iced cake creating the bigger picture. The purpose is to remind your team that everyone is an important part of your company and although they are  individual, together they make the big picture with each person filling an essential role within your company.

We originally launched this activity as one of the Christmas challenges on our team bake off event, we noticed how people didn’t limit themselves to gingerbread houses and created all sorts of ambitious ideas, since launching gingerbread creations we have had fork lift trucks and lorries for Volvo, Boeing 747 from Air Bus, handbags from Chanel and so many more! The only limit to this activity seems to be the imagination!
