A memorable experience, cooking, sharing and dining together as a team
Tapas is the latest in cookery team building, it’s informal style suits a casual, relaxed cooking and dining experience by sharing a variety of dishes. This class is unique and ever more popular with our clients.
Tapa translated literally means lid, they were pieces of bread covering wine glasses to deter fruit flies, over time olives and cold meats were added to the bread creating delicious dishes
After a warm welcome our chef will begin with an introduction and a short talk on tapas and the types of dishes teams will cook this includes knife skills and health and safety. A demonstration from the chef follows making 3 to 5 different types of classic tapas dishes depending upon the time restraints (see below) we will include some facts about Tapas in the demonstration and keep audience participation.
To conclude, we will sit down to enjoy the hard-earned efforts. If this is run as a team building activity the tapas can even serve as part of their meal. We will judge the presentation, taste and creativity of the dishes awarding the winning team medals or prizes.
Sample Menu:Patatas Bravas, Tortilla Española, Spanish prawns cooked the Hartleys way, a selection of breads hams and cheeses and pickles, crocettas de jamon
