Make chocolates like the proffessionals, you can expect to master "chocolate tempering" learn about the cocoa bean, its origins and history, how it becomes a chocolate bar from a bean using real cocoa beans plus a tasting session in which we will enjoy some of the best single origin chocolate from around the world, time permitting we will even make some of our very own chocolate from the beans!
There will be lots to gift wrap and take home to wow your friends and family with at the end of the day.
To begin we will devote our first hour to chocolate worship, our passionate chocolatier will engage everyone in a chocolate tasting session like no other, teaching how to fully appreciate chocolate with a little theory for you to put in to practice later in the day.
Watch a professional chocolate demonstration from our Michelin Star trained chocolatier on how to make a moulded chocolates, champagne truffles with gold leaf, a chocolate centerpiece and an artisan chocolate bar all to take home at the end of the day
We promise to show you lots of tips and tricks helping to create that wow factor for your creations.
To finish elegantly gift wrap your chocolates and truffles to take home, each guest will be expected to make hand finished 10 hand moulded chocolates 10 champagne truffles 1 artisan bar of chocolate, 5 chocolate lolly pops or 5 giant chocolate buttons 1 centerpiece chocolate creation.
10.00 Guests arrive to light refreshments and greeted by the chef
10.15 To begin the chef talks about chocolate and takes guests on a fascinating journey through time from ancient Aztec chocolate drinks to some of the worlds best single estate chocolate bars
11.15 Guests make moulded chocolates with the chef
12.00 Guests make chocolate centerpiece and ganaches with the chef
13.00 Lunch break
14.00 Guests make chocolate bars and champagne truffles with the chef
15.00 Guests finish items and package chocolates to take home with handouts and the chef takes any final questions
