The shift is changing in team building, its important these days to be promoting health and wellbeing as part of an active CSR programme within your company, healthy eating is in the best interest for our staff and could be seen as a duty of care from managers and employers. In today’s busy lifestyle we often “eat on the hoof” which generally means high fat, salt, carb and sugar options leading to many health conditions. A balanced diet is a key component to getting the best out of your team and will reduce the amount of fatigue, sickness and increase the energy levels and productivity of your staff. With this activity you will be taking practical steps toward corporate and social responsibility, not only will you have a fun time together working but also learn new skills and be reminded how diet makes a difference in the workplace and at home.
Empower and challenge your staff to take control over their diets for a healthy lifestyle by inspiring them with some simple techniques for nutritious eating that can be made by making a few lifestyle changes, our vision is to change the way people eat forever.
After you and your team have been welcomed by our event host you will be given a talk on ingredients and some practical advice on how to live and eat more healthy with the limited time and resources of a busy lifestyle, we will include an interactive cookery demonstration from our passionate chef to include some tasters!
Our chefs are all about texture and flavour, we believe healthy eating is exciting, tasty and can be as good as any high fat or high sugar alternative, we will cook a variety of seasonal dishes using ingredients which we have sourced from local suppliers and tailored to the time of year the fruit and vegetables are at their best. We believe it is the responsibility of the employer to encourage healthy eating as part of company culture, our hope is this activity is either a first step or a continuing step within your company ethics.
We will include a mystery basket of ingredients in which we will challenge teams to make their own healthy option in addition to the recipes and ingredients we demonstrate, our chef will taste and judge team efforts and award a prize for the tastiest dishes.
